Inconel X750

Inconel X-750 is a nickel-chromium alloy that is often used in high-temperature applications. Its composition includes nickel (72%), chromium (14%), and smaller amounts of iron, cobalt, molybdenum, aluminium, carbon, titanium, and manganese. It is known for its corrosion resistance capabilities at high temperatures due to its ability to form an oxide film that protects it from further oxidation. Its strength and creep resistance also make it helpful in aerospace engine parts and nuclear reactor components.

Inconel X750 is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing titanium and aluminium for precipitation hardening and molybdenum for solid solution strengthening. It is oxidation and corrosion-resistant, has good mechanical properties over various temperatures, and can be readily formed into complex shapes. Common uses of Inconel X750 include parts in gas turbines, aircraft engines, rocket motors, nuclear reactors, pumps and valves, and o-ring seals. Its improved formability also makes it a great choice for washers, springs or any other application requiring high strength at elevated temperatures.
