Super Duplex Steel S32750

Super Duplex Steel S32750 is a high-strength and highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel grade. It performs well in aggressive environments, extreme temperatures, high pressure, and chloride attacks. Common Super Duplex Steel S32750 applications include oil & gas equipment parts, heat exchangers, offshore platforms and structures, chemical processing components & vessels. The alloy combines the properties of ferritic and austenitic steels with higher mechanical strength than conventional duplex grades, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and good weldability for superior fabrication capabilities.

Super Duplex Steel S32750 is an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel with high molybdenum content. It has a mechanical strength of twice as strong as austenite grade 316 and 317L, making it ideal for applications in industries such as oil and gas extraction, marine engineering, and chemical processing. The composition of this alloy consists of 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3.7 % molybdenum, along with various other elements, including nitrogen, manganese, carbon and iron. Its improved corrosion resistance makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in various environments; however, its effectiveness can be affected by chlorides or pitting chemicals that affect the surface finish.
