Inconel Valves

Inconel valves are austenitic, nickel based super alloys. These valves have extreme corrosion resistance and are appropriate for use in extreme environmental conditions, as well. Inconel valves are suitable for use even in temperatures, where stainless steel and aluminium give up.

When exposed to heat and oxide layer is generated on the surface of these valves. The layer protects them from oxidation damage. Hence, in applications where temperatures reach extremes, these valves are used. Some high temperature applications include chemical vessels, pressure vessels, gas turbine blades, heat exchanger, steam generators, and natural gas processing plants. Valves are built in four main types which include Hydraulic valves, Pneumatic valves, Solenoid valves and Motor Valves. These valves are commonly used for applications like regulating the flow of liquids and gasses in industries. Most of the household applications like Washing machines, Dishwashers and more make use of Valves. Inconel has higher strength, when compared to stainless steel.  Inconel valves are also highly resistant to sodium chloride corrosion. This property makes them usable in marine applications. Inconel is hard to machine.
