Super Duplex just like Duplex steel is a mixture of austenitic and ferritic structure. Super Duplex has a higher molybdenum and chromium content when compared to Duplex Steel, which gives it higher corrosion resistance. The Dual structure is stabilized and combines high strength and corrosion resistance. Super Duplex Forged Fittings have high resistance to chloride environments. It also has increased tensile and yield strength in chloride environments. Super Duplex product are used for applications in offshore platforms, fire-fighting systems, heat exchangers, chemical processing, oil & gas, and more. Forged Fittings are found in two types Socket-Weld Fittings and Threaded Fittings. Socket-weld fittings are manufactured under ASME B16.11 standards and Threaded Fittings are monitored under ASME B1.20.1. Forged Fitting are generally used for building complex piping systems with ease.
