Alloy Steel Grade 91 Coil

Alloy Steel Grade 91 is a high-strength, chromium-molybdenum alloy containing 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum. This grade of steel has excellent chemical and mechanical properties, making it ideal for power generation industries. The composition of Grade 91 includes carbon (0.2%), manganese (0.5 -1%), silicon (0.3- 0.6%), phosphorus (max 0.04%), sulfur (max 0 .03 %), chromium (9%) and molybdenum(1%). Furthermore, its higher yield strength and creep resistance provide superior tolerance to temperature changes, making it suitable for various engineering applications such as boiler components, turbine blades, fasteners, etc.

Alloy Steel Grade 91 Coil has excellent creep strength and oxidation resistance, making it ideal for high-temperature applications. It also offers good weldability and toughness, which makes it suitable for use in various industries, including power plants, petrochemical plants, oil & gas refineries and process piping. Its superior fatigue strength makes it an attractive material choice for components used in turbines that operate with cyclic loads.
