Aluminium 1050 Plates

Aluminium Alloy 1050 Plates are made from a combination of 99% pure aluminium and other elements, primarily copper. This alloy provides excellent electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and formability. Due to its numerous advantages, such as low weight and ease of fabrication with minimal processing costs, Aluminium Alloy 1050 Plates are commonly used to manufacture architectural components, stamped products, and high-grade cooking utensils. The mechanical properties include tensile strength ranging from 50 MPa - 136 MPa (7 ksi -19ksi). It is also heat-treatable for added strength levels but does not respond well to welding or brazing.

Aluminium Alloy 1050 Plates are widely used for various applications due to their high corrosion resistance, great workability, and lightweight properties. These plates are commonly employed in cookware and kitchen utensils, chemical processing equipment, architectural components such as roofing and wall panels, decorative vehicle trim, aircraft parts and hardware components. They offer excellent thermal and electrical conductivity and an attractive appearance, making them suitable for automotive and aerospace applications. In addition to these uses, Aluminium Alloy 1050 Plates can also be used for food handling operations due to their inertness, making them free from toxic contamination.
