Aluminium 1070 sheet is a low-cost, commercially pure grade of aluminium that contains 99.7% aluminium. It's most commonly used in chemical equipment, architectural applications and decorative items like trim due to its superior corrosion resistance properties over other alloys. Its composition also consists of 0.01–0.08% Fe (Iron), 0.15–0.35% Si (Silicon), 0.05–0.20% Cu (Copper) and no more than 0.04% Mg (Magnesium). It's also a great choice for welding operations because of its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and non-heat treatable properties, making it an ideal choice for many commercial applications!
