Aluminium 5052 Bars

Aluminium 5052 is a non-heat treatable alloy that offers excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and fair formability. It has medium to high strength depending on temper, and is most commonly used in the annealed condition at H32. The chemical composition of Aluminium 5052 Bars consists of 0.25% copper (Cu), 2.2-2.8% magnesium (Mg), 0.15-0.35% chromium (Cr), 0.1% zinc (Zn), 97%-98,5 % aluminium (Al) and other minor elements such as iron (Fe).

Aluminium 5052 Bars are particles of aluminium metal that have been shaped into rods or bars. These bars offer various benefits, including good corrosion resistance in salt water applications and excellent weldability. They also provide a great formability, strength-to-weight ratio, durability, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and recyclability, making them popular materials for many industrial applications such as aerospace components, architectural trim and building products. Furthermore, these bars are also used in the automotive industry due to their light weight yet high strength properties compared to other metals.
