Aluminium 5083 Coil

Aluminum Alloy 5083 is a medium-strength aluminium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It contains nominally 4.5% magnesium, 0.15% chromium, 0.7% manganese, and other miscellaneous elements in trace amounts, such as silicon, copper, titanium and zinc. The alloy has good formability properties and welding characteristics, making it suitable for constructing marine vessels or automotive components.

Aluminium Alloy 5083 Coil is a high-strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, unlike other mild steel alloys. It is often used in automotive components, marine parts, structural components and tanks for storing low-temperature liquids such as liquefied natural gas (LNG). Other uses include aircraft structures and vessels requiring strength and flexibility at extreme temperatures. Its properties make it suitable for deep drawing applications as well.
