Aluminium 6083 Wires

Aluminium 6083 Wire is an alloy composed of 97% aluminium, 5.8-6.8% magnesium and 0.5-1.0% manganese with silicon, iron and copper traces. It has excellent mechanical properties, weldability, good corrosion resistance and an above-average strength-to-weight ratio for an aluminium alloy. This makes it ideal for complex engineering applications such as wireframes in the aerospace industry and car body parts that need to be lightweight yet strong enough to withstand stress during movement or vibration without losing shape or damage from wear over time.

Aluminium 6083 is a medium-strength alloy commonly used for the manufacture of wire. It has excellent corrosion resistance, weldability and formability, and average machinability. Its properties include high tensile strength and fatigue endurance. 6083-T6 wires are known to have great electrical conductivity too. They are ideal for aerospace engineering, automotive components, construction components and more.
