Aluminium 6101 T6 bars are a form of aluminium alloy containing magnesium and silicon as its main alloying elements. It is a medium-to-high-strength wrought material which offers excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. Its composition includes 0.5–0.9% Silicon, 0.6–1% Magnesium, 0.2-0.6% Iron, a maximum of 0.35 Manganese, and other trace elements, including Copper, Titanium, Chromium, and zinc, among others, making up the balance of its composition, by weight.
