Brass C26000 Foil

Brass C26000 is a copper-zinc alloy known as Muntz Metal or Yellow Brass. It has a nominal composition of 60% copper, 40% zinc, and 0.7-1.4% iron. Its high flexibility makes it ideal for use in foil because it can be easily shaped into very thin sheets without becoming brittle. This alloy provides excellent formability, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity, making it suitable for applications such as electrical components and housings in the marine industry.

Brass C26000 Foil has a variety of uses and properties. It is an alloy of Copper (67%) and Zinc (33%), which makes it an excellent conductor of electricity, heat and sound. Its malleability allows it to be cold-worked into various shapes giving it great versatility in engineering applications such as bearings, bushings, screws, coils, etc. It also has superior corrosion & wear resistance, making it ideal for use in many chemical processing systems, such as oil & gas production lines, refinery equipment & valves. Furthermore, its high tensile strength makes it well-suited for structural components like handrails & frames.
