Copper Nickel Pipes FAQ's  

Brazing copper nickel pipes requires the right tools and materials and the correct technique to ensure a strong and secure joint. Here are the steps for brazing copper nickel pipes: Clean the pipes with a wire brush and grease remover to remove any dirt or oxidation from the surface. Attach a propane torch to a gas tank and adjust the flame size until it is 2-3 inches long. Apply flux to both ends of the pipe, then position one end inside the other until they fit securely together. Heat the joint with the flame for about 10-15 seconds, then use brass filler rods to form an even line of filler metal along the joint. Slowly move |the flame around both sides of the joint while feeding through additional brass filler rods, allowing time for each rod to melt and join together with the other metals. Allow several minutes for cooling before testing its strength by trying to twist or pull apart the joint.
