2205

2205 Duplex Steel Pipe Fittings are a superior grade of steel products consisting of an aggregate composition of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum alloys. This combination creates a highly resistant product to corrosion and erosion caused by constant exposure to harsh chemicals or environments. Its corrosion resistance surpasses other steel alloys, making it ideal for long-term applications such as pipe systems used in power generation or oil refineries. Additionally, Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings are economical due to their strength and minimal need for materials when manufacturing, perfect for any budget-conscious project.

Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings are made from chromium, nickel and molybdenum alloy, ensuring superior strength, corrosion resistance and durability. With a higher mechanical strength than other stainless steels, Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings offer excellent fatigue strength as well as outstanding weldability and formability. Rust proof and cost effective, Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings are designed to withstand high pressure applications like oil extraction and water treatment. In addition, they possess superior pitting corrosion resistance compared with austenitic stainless steels due to their similar duel phase microstructures balancing ferrite to austenite balance characteristics. Versatile and reliable, Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings are the number one choice for residential piping systems, petrochemical plants and industrial hot water services today.

FAQ's for Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings

Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings Start From Rs. 250/Kilogram To Rs. 300/Kilogram

Duplex Steel 2205 (UNS S31803) Is A Ferritic-Austenitic Stainless Steel, It Contains Both Ferritic And Austenitic Microstructures In Roughly Equal Proportions. Due To Its Ferritic Properties, It Is Magnetic. It Is Known For Its High Strength, Corrosion Resistance And High Durability. Therefore Duplex Steel 2205 Pipe Fittings Are Also Magnetic.

Stainless Steel 305 Is Not As Corrosion Resistant As Other Types Of Stainless Steel Such As 316, Or Even Other High Nickel Alloys Like Duplex 2205. It Is Resistant To Corrosion In Mild Environments, But It Is Not Recommended For Use In Highly Corrosive Environments Or In Applications Where It Will Be Exposed To Chlorides. It Is More Suitable For Indoor Use And Applications With Low Corrosive Environments. It Has Lower Corrosion Resistance Than High Nickel Alloys, Due To Its Lower Nickel Content.
