Duplex Steel 2205 Sheet is a stainless steel alloy containing chromium, molybdenum, and nickel for improved resistance to corrosion. It also offers high strength and abrasion resistance, making it an ideal choice for many applications. Its main components are 22% chromium, 5-6.5% nickel, 3-3.5% molybdenum, 0.14-0.20% nitrogen, and trace amounts of other elements such as iron and manganese. This makes the alloy very resistant to wear, tear and corrosion compared to other steel alloys today—ideal for harsh environments where toughness is key!

Duplex Steel 2205 Sheet offers excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and great durability. It is used in the production of oil & gas equipment, components for seawater systems, chemical process vessels and piping systems. Furthermore, its unique combination of properties makes it ideal for cryogenic temperatures.
