Duplex Steel S31803 coil combines ferritic and austenitic stainless steel with copper added to enhance corrosion resistance. It has higher strength than conventional stainless alloys, making it ideal for applications such as petrochemical equipment and offshore platforms. The composition of Duplex Steel S31803 includes chromium (Cr) 22-23%, nickel (Ni) 5-7%, molybdenum (Mo) 3-4%, manganese (Mn) 2% or less, silicon(Si) 1% or less and phosphorus (P)/ sulphur(S) 0.035%.

Duplex Steel S31803 Coil is a combination of ferritic and austenitic stainless steel, and it offers some great benefits. It has excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing environments, much higher strength than traditional Stainless Steel, superior weldability compared to conventional steels, and excellent pitting corrosion resistance. In addition, the Alloy S31803 Coil also offers good formability and very high impact toughness down to cryogenic temperatures. Its flexibility makes it suitable for various applications like seawater equipment, chemical processing industries, etc.
