Duplex Steel S31803 Sheet is a duplex stainless steel composed of chromium, nickel and molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance. It also contains a high amount of nitrogen to further enhance its mechanical properties, making it stronger and more resistant to wear and tear. The composition is approximately 22-23% chromium, 5-6% nickel, 3-3.5% molybdenum, 0.15-0.20% nitrogen, and small amounts of carbon, manganese and silicon.

 

Duplex Steel S31803 Sheet is highly versatile, offering excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and reducing environments. It also offers outstanding strength and toughness properties when subjected to cryogenic temperatures, making it ideal for various industrial applications such as pressure vessel components, paper mill machinery, and petrochemical processing equipment. The low carbon content further adds to its corrosion-resistant attributes.
