Duplex Steel S32205 Coil

Duplex Steel S32205 Coil is ferritic-austenitic stainless steel that combines properties from both duplex and austenitic families of alloys. Its chemical composition includes 22% chromium, 3.2%0 molybdenum, 5-6% nickel, 2.5%-3.-0 % nitrogen and 0.14%-0.20% carbon, which bestows it with exceptional mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance in various environments like seawater, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. It can also be used in high-temperature applications due to its excellent strength and good ductility at extreme temperatures.

Duplex Steel S32205 Coil is a stainless steel alloy with equal proportions of ferrite and austenite grains. These coils are highly resistant to corrosion, have superior mechanical properties, and offer excellent fatigue strength due to their duplex structure. They also possess good weldability, machinability, formability and yield strength, which make them suitable for many applications such as heat exchangers, storage vessels and piping systems for chemical processing industries. Furthermore, they can be used in marine applications owing to their pitting resistance equivalent number (PREN) of >41.
