Hastelloy C4 Fasteners

Hastelloy C4 Fasteners are a type of corrosion-resistant fastener made from an alloy composed primarily of nickel and molybdenum. This alloy has excellent resistance to various corrosive media, including sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, making it ideal for chemical processing applications. They are also highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking, making them suitable for many high-temperature applications.

Hastelloy C4 fasteners are widely used in many industries due to their high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. They can withstand exposure to various corrosive environments, including chlorides, molybdates, organic acids, and sulfuric acid. Their heat resistance capabilities make them suitable for applications that involve temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). In addition to their superior corrosion properties, Hastelloy C4 fasteners offer exceptional tensile strength with a hardness of up to Rc33 on the Rockwell scale. They also have great fatigue life and superior weldability compared to similar materials.
