Hastelloy C4 Tubing

Hastelloy C4 Tubing is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy composed mostly of Nickel (57%) and Chromium (19%) with small amounts of Iron, Cobalt, Manganese and Tungsten added for increased strength and corrosion resistance. This tubing is designed to resist corrosion from sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It also has excellent mechanical properties even at high temperatures, making it popular in many engineering industries due to its versatility.

Hastelloy C4 tubing is an extremely versatile material that combines heat resistance, excellent fabrication capability, and strength. It is used for many industrial applications, including chemical processing, aerospace engineering, nuclear fuel processing and medical device manufacturing. Its properties make it ideal for high-temperature production environments because it can withstand extreme temperatures up to 1600°F (871°C). Its high chromium and molybdenum content also make it very resistant to acid corrosion. Furthermore, its low carbon content improves weldability and reduces the risk of sensitization during welding operations.
