Hastelloy Foil

Hastelloy Foil is a form of corrosion-resistant alloy metal with a thin, heat-treated layer. It is composed primarily of Nickel (66%) and Chromium (22%), as well as Iron (12%). Its structure also includes small amounts of Molybdenum, Cobalt, Manganese and Copper. This combination gives it exceptional resistance to stress-cracking oxidizing acids like sulfuric acid and chlorides. Hastelloy Foil can be used in diverse industrial applications such as chemical processing equipment lining, filtration systems and expanded process vessels.

Hastelloy Foil is a unique material used for various industrial applications. It has excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability, making it suitable for many demanding operations. Furthermore, its extreme durability makes it an ideal choice in aerospace engineering and chemical processing industries, where the environment can be harsh or hazardous. Its very low coefficient of thermal expansion ensures precision tooling accuracy when exposed to varying temperatures. Additionally, Hastelloy Foil can be bent, formed, and welded without cracking or other damage due to its high strength-to-weight ratio, surpassing that of almost any other standard metal alloy on the market today.
