800 Incoloy Tubing is a versatile alloy composed of nickel, chromium, and iron. It is primarily noted for its excellent creep-rupture properties at elevated temperatures alongside good mechanical strength and oxidation resistance. This combination makes Incoloy Tubing ideal for applications above 816°C, such as boiler components, carburizing environments, and petrochemical use. Additionally, the tubing has specific concentrations of other elemental metals, such as copper, carbon, manganese, and silicon, which all work synergistically to produce exceptional heat resistance in corrosive atmospheres.
Incoloy 800 Tubing is made from a nickel alloy and chromium, making it strong and resilient. These are revered for their corrosion resistance in various acid compounds, making them ideal for harsh applications in petrochemical plants, energy production, and other highly corrosive industrial environments. Besides inherent strength and reliability under high temperatures, Incoloy 800 Tubing also offers better thermal stability than many other alloys - up to 2000° F. This makes it suitable for various heat exchanger applications like condensing steam turbine components due to its excellent creep strength. While having these fantastic benefits, Incoloy 800 Tubing also has excellent formability when working with appropriate tools, making it easily customizable as per your needs.
