Incoloy UNS N08800 Plates

Incoloy UNS N08800 Plate is composed of a robust combination of metals and elements, including iron, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. This special alloy has high oxidation resistance, stress corrosion, and sulfide stress corrosion cracking. It is also known to have good formability characteristics in the annealed condition. Adding titanium to this alloy's makeup increases its chloride ion stress corrosion cracking resistance. This grade of Incoloy provides excellent resistance against general corrosion by reducing localized attack and intergranular corrosion effects. Due to its high-quality weldability and ductility, it is an ideal choice for many applications requiring unique properties, such as food processing equipment.

UNS N08800 Incoloy Plate is a multipurpose, nickel-iron-based alloy known for its strength and resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. Used mostly for industrial applications, it can be found in components such as power generation turbines and gas turbine buckets, as well as heat exchangers, water coolers, exhaust manifolds and boilers. With a maximum temperature rating of 1399°C (2550°F), this alloy is corrosion-resistant in acidic and alkaline environments such as sulphuric acid.
