Inconel 617 Coil

Inconel 617 Coil is a special nickel-based alloy designed for extreme temperature applications. It comprises high levels of chromium, tungsten, cobalt and niobium, making it highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures due to its excellent microstructure stability. This makes it an ideal material for use in extremely hot environments like jet engines or nuclear reactors.

Inconel 617 Coil is a corrosion and oxidation-resistant nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy with exceptional properties. It offers excellent creep resistance and stress rupture strength at temperatures up to 1800°F (980°C). The alloy can be formed, welded, machined, and hot or cold-worked using conventional equipment. Its applications include furnace parts, turbine blades, heat headers, and afterburner components in aircraft engines and combustion systems. It also finds extensive use in liquid fuel rocket thrust chambers.
