Inconel 617 Sheet

Inconel 617 Sheet is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy that offers excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It has good tensile and creep stress rupture properties at temperatures up to 1300°F (704°C). The major composition of this sheet includes 59% Nickel, 21.5% Chromium, 9.5% Cobalt, 2.8% Molybdenum, 1 % Silicon and 4 % Aluminium. It also contains trace elements such as Ti, Ta, Nb and V in varying amounts to improve its physical properties for specific applications.

Inconel 617 Sheet is a highly wear-resistant sheet metal with excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and high-temperature exposure. Due to its properties, Inconel 617 Sheets are most commonly used in chemical and petrochemical processing equipment and components such as turbines, scrubbers, valves, pumps and more. It is also widely used in furnace parts foundry fixtures for heat treatment applications thanks to its corrosion resistance properties at elevated temperatures.
