DIN 2.4642

Inconel DIN2 4642 plates are made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, providing strong corrosion resistance, excellent fatigue strength and high weldability. The chemical composition of these plates includes around 22% chromium, 18% nickel, 12% molybdenum, 8% iron, 5% manganese and a small amount of cobalt; other amounts of carbon and silicon may be present in trace amounts. As this alloy has an enhanced level of toughness and improved ductility at elevated temperatures than most superalloys available on the market, Inconel DIN2 4642 plates have become incredibly popular across many industries for their strong properties in all kinds of applications.

DIN2 4642 Inconel Plates are an alloy made from nickel and chromium metals. Its unique combination of properties, including high strength, excellent corrosion, and heat resistance, make them popularly used in many critical applications under extreme environmental conditions. With no decline in mechanical strength, these plates also provide excellent oxidation resistance even at a temperature as high as 1300°C. They offer excellent fabricability with fasteners and welding processes. Beyond the automotive industry, they are also widely used within aircraft components manufacturing due to their light weight compared to other metal and their increased reliability and safety.
