Inconel Sheet is a nickel-chrome alloy metal sheet with great resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and oxidation. It's composed of 75% Nickel (Ni), 21–23% Chromium (Cr), 5–9% Iron (Fe) and other trace elements like Aluminum (Al), Titanium (Ti), Cobalt (Co) etc., which makes it very strong yet lightweight. The combination gives Inconel Sheet superior mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and better formability and weldability than conventional stainless steel grades.
Inconel Sheet is a nickel-based alloy with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It has great mechanical strength and formability, making it suitable for use in heat exchangers, chemical vessel liners, thermal reactors, aerospace parts , power plant components and food processing equipment. Inconel sheets are highly sought after due to their ability to perform at extreme temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2200°F (1205°C). Furthermore, they offer good malleability and weldability without sacrificing their high-strength properties.
