Monel Sheet

Monel sheet is an alloy of copper and nickel with superior strength, flexibility, and corrosion resistance. Its composition typically includes 65%-70% nickel, 20%-29% copper, and small amounts of iron and manganese. Depending on its use case, it also contains traces of other elements, such as carbon, silicon or sulfur. Monel sheet is often used in marine applications due to its excellent corrosion-resistant properties.

Monel sheets are made up of copper-nickel alloys and have great resistance to corrosion, high flexibility, good magnetostrictive properties, excellent strength in temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C), and exceptional formability. It is commonly used in the marine industry because it offers increased performance in saltwater environments. Additionally, Monel sheets are resistant to chemicals like sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, as well as alkalis and other corrosive compounds. Therefore, this alloy is widely used for various applications such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels and processing equipment.
