Nickel Alloy 201 Coil is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with good weldability and formability. Its composition contains chromium (17–22%), nickel (up to 33%) and iron, with small amounts of manganese, silicon, carbon, and sulfur. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance properties in various environment especially suited for corrosive environments such as chemical processing equipment. It also exhibits good mechanical strength like hardness ensuring better performance when exposed to extreme temperatures.

 

Nickel Alloy 201 Coil is an austenitic nickel chromium-manganese stainless steel. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance due to the addition of molybdenum, which helps counteract chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Additionally, it offers high ductility, formability and toughness at low temperatures, making it ideal for structural components such as aircraft parts and pumps in chemical processing facilities. Moreover, its low carbon content makes it suitable for welding and ensures maximum resistance to intergranular corrosion.
