Nimonic Bars are a superalloy which is primarily composed of nickel and chromium. This alloy is known best for its high performance and high-temperature resistance. Additional elements, such as aluminium, carbon, titanium and manganese, can be present depending on the grade. All these metals help ensure superior mechanical properties, including higher strength at elevated temperatures than other steel grades.
