Stainless Steel 304H Foil

Stainless Steel 304H Foil is a type of ferritic stainless steel. It is an alloy containing chromium, nickel and carbon as its main components, with a small addition of silicon and manganese for enhanced strength. Nitrogen also increases the mechanical properties, making it suitable for higher temperatures applications up to 900°C (1650°F). It has excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation in dry air at room temperature.

Stainless Steel 304H Foil is a high-carbon version of the stainless steel grade 304 and is often used in applications with greater strength and hardness. It has excellent formability, weldability, oxidation resistance, and cryogenic toughness. Its high carbon content makes it highly resistant to intergranular corrosion, which can be useful in certain industrial operations. Its superior creep strength makes it ideal for use in heat exchangers & furnace components.
