Other elements present in small quantities include Carbon (0.03-0.08 percent), Silicon (0.50 percent max.), Sulphur (0.030 percent max.), Phosphorous (0.040 percent max.), and Nitrogen (0.10 percent max.). 305 stainless steel plates are ferritic grade and have excellent formability, weldability, and toughness, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, including food processing equipment and chemical processing tanks.
