316L Stainless Steel Bolts are composed of an alloy containing 11-14% chromium, 16-18% nickel, 2% molybdenum, and 0.03-0.08% carbon. The presence of these elements creates a corrosion-resistant bolt that can resist high temperatures, making it extremely useful in marine environments and other applications where corrosive elements may be present. Additionally, 316L has strength characteristics comparable to those found in 304 stainless sheets of steel, and the hardness is greater than 302 types due to its lower work hardening rate and higher yield strength.

SS 316L bolts are corrosion-resistant and offer superior strength compared to traditional carbon steel fasteners. They are preferred in applications where high levels of stress or exposure to harsh environments, such as undersea piping, are expected. 316L stainless steel is also known for its excellent formability and weldability properties, making it ideal for a variety of industrial applications.
