Stainless Steel 316L Sheet

Stainless Steel 316L Sheet is an austenitic low-carbon form of stainless steel sheet that is highly resistant to corrosion and has a wide variety of industrial applications. It consists mostly of chromium, nickel and molybdenum with small amounts of titanium, manganese and copper; it also contains trace amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus. This makes the stainless steel more durable, stronger and able to sustain higher temperature ranges without corroding or pitting. In addition, its excellent cold working properties make it ideal for a range of industrial uses, such as cryogenic engineering.

Stainless Steel 316L Sheet is a low-carbon variation of grade 316, which has excellent corrosion resistance and formability properties. It can be used in various applications such as Marine/Seawater Equipment, Chemical processing, Pressure Vessels and tanks, Pipe Fittings and flanges, Balustrades and Architecture Structures. Other notable aspects include its high-temperature strength up to 870°C for long exposure times, great weldability and cryogenic toughness at very low temperatures.
