Stainless Steel 317 Foil

Stainless Steel 317 foil is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel alloy with a molybdenum addition. It has excellent corrosion resistance and superior resistance to strong acids, alkalis and chlorides. Its composition includes 17-20% Chromium, 11-15% Nickel, 2-3% Molybdenum and trace amounts of Silicon, Oxygen and other elements. This alloy displays excellent oxidation & creep resistance at high temperatures, making it ideal for applications such as industrial furnaces.
