Stainless Steel 317LM is an austenitic stainless steel designed to be corrosion, oxidation, and creep resistant in temperatures up to 1500°F. It is composed primarily of iron, 18-20% chromium, 8-10.5% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, 1-2% manganese and 0.08%-0.15%% nitrogen along with trace amounts of other elements such as carbon and silicon.
