Stainless Steel 317LN Plates

Stainless steel 317LN Plate is an austenitic chromium-nickel molybdenum stainless steel alloy with high mechanical properties like strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. It contains 17% chromium, 12% nickel, 4% molybdenum, 0.03% nitrogen, and 1.44%-2.5% manganese, as well as trace amounts of phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, and carbon for better machinability and weldability.

317LN SS Plate is a low-carbon version of the standard grade alloy, which has high ductility and better corrosion resistance than normal 316L stainless steel. It is resistant to stress cracking and can be used in elevated temperature applications, cryogenic temperatures, seawater environments, and chlorides.
