The 321 stainless steel bolts have a chemical composition of iron, chromium, nickel, carbon, and manganese. The percentage of their composition is as follows: Iron (17-19%), Chromium (17-19%), Nickel (9-12%), Carbon (0.08% max), and Manganese (2% max). This alloy contains small amounts of titanium, sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon. It has a yield strength of 50ksi and a tensile strength of 75ksi. It is highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for many industrial applications.

The SS 321 bolts are known for their excellent corrosion resistance, superior tensile strength, good formability, and weldability. They make ideal fasteners for use in many applications, including marine environments, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper mills, food processing plants, and cryogenic systems. The corrosion resistance is due to the high chromium content of 17-19%. The tensile strength of the bolts comes from the addition of nickel which helps increase the overall strength. They are also formable and weldable.
