Stainless Steel 330 Nuts

Stainless Steel 330 Nuts are a high alloy, nickel-chromium-iron austenitic stainless steel that is known for its excellent corrosion resistance in even the most highly corrosive environments. It contains chromium (17 to 19%), nickel (24 to 26%), manganese (1%), and molybdenum (2 – 3%). Additionally, it contains iron and carbon as well as small amounts of silicon and sulfur for further strength optimization. The material also features good formability and weldability properties due to low sulfur content and balanced chemistry.

330 SS Nuts are well suited for a variety of engineering applications that require superior corrosion resistance, strength, and ductility. Popular uses include nuts and bolts, fasteners, threaded rods, flanges, and valve components in chemical processing plants, petrochemical refineries, power generation equipment, and marine applications. The material features excellent mechanical properties of minimum tensile strength of 90 ksi (620 MPa) and yield strength of 70 ksi (490 MPa) with good elongation and toughness. Stainless Steel 330 nuts also offer great corrosion resistance due to their high chromium content and additional molybdenum for better protection in highly corrosive environments.
