Stainless steel 904L valves are highly wear-resistant and have superior corrosion resistance thanks to their special composition. They are a commonly used special-purpose valve often made from 8 nickel molybdenum austenitic SS 904L, with some extra additions too - chromium, nitrogen, and copper, to name a few. This unique combination of elements gives these components unparalleled strength and the ability to withstand extremely harsh applications, which makes them the ideal choice for many industries, including oil & gas production, pharmaceuticals, or chemical processing. Beyond corrosion resistance, it also has fantastic weldability and high-temperature stability so that valves remain durable under extreme conditions. All in all, this makes SS 904L valves an excellent choice for any application requiring superior strength and reliability.
SS 904l valves offer excellent corrosion-resistant properties and are often used in harsh environments, such as coastal areas or oil and gas platforms. Constructed of stainless steel 904l valves, these valves can resist extreme temperatures and chemicals, making them an ideal choice for applications where reliability is key. Due to their durability and longevity in hostile conditions, stainless steel 904l valves are even considered a cost-effective solution compared to other choices on the market. In addition to being extremely durable and corrosion-resistant, 904l stainless steel valves also require little maintenance, resulting in time and money saved while ensuring your system remains operational with minimal interruptions.
Price is based on various factors, in general, it starts from INR 250/Kg to INR 600/Kg
The machinability of 904L stainless steel valves is considered to be good, but it is not as good as that of some other stainless steel alloys. It is generally more difficult to machine than 304 or 316 stainless steels, due to its high strength and high resistance to deformation.
Valves made from Type 403 stainless steel can be rustproof, as the alloy composition of this material makes it highly resistant to corrosion. Type 403 stainless steel is composed of 11% chromium and 0.5% manganese, which means that it has a higher corrosion resistance compared to other grades of stainless steel like 302 or 304. It also has a high nickel content (around 8%) which further increases its anti-corrosion ability. This makes Type 403 stainless steel an excellent choice for valves and other components used in applications where exposed to harsh environments or chemicals.
