The super duplex has a higher molybdenum and chromium content in comparison to standard duplex grades which gives this material greater corrosion resistance. Super Duplex Stainless Steel UNS S32750 Stud Bolt is made of a mixture of austenite and ferrite microstructures in 50/50 ratio; this microstructure gives them enhanced strength over its counterparts. These microstructures also give high strength and corrosion resistance in high chloride environments which are cost effective. It has added benefits similar to other grades of duplex stainless steel.
