Titanium Foil

Titanium Foil is a thin sheet of titanium metal, typically less than 0.2mm thick. It has many properties that make it attractive for industrial and medical applications, including its low mass-to-strength ratio, corrosion resistance and non-magnetic nature. Commercially pure Titanium Foil is composed primarily of elemental titanium (Ti) with trace amounts of oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), hydrogen (H), and iron (Fe). It is available in various grades depending on the use case and the industry it will be used in.

Titanium foil is a lightweight and malleable material with excellent corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the chemical, aerospace, automotive and medical industries due to its various properties, such as high strength-to-weight ratio, low thermal expansion coefficient, good flame/heat resistance, and excellent electrical insulation performance. Additionally, it has superior fatigue-resistant capabilities and can be formed into complex shapes. It is sometimes even used for cooking or storing liquids because of its non-toxic nature.
