Titanium Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) sheet is a heat-treatable, alpha-beta alloy with high strength and low weight ratios. It has excellent corrosion resistance and weldability, making it suitable for various applications in the aerospace and medical industries. Its composition comprises 90% titanium, 6% aluminium, and 4% vanadium. With its high strength-to-weight ratio and superior corrosion resistance properties, Titanium Grade 9 can be found in numerous components such as turbine blades, engine cases, and landing gear parts thanks to its ductility even at cryogenic temperatures (-253°C).
Titanium Gr 9 Sheet is corrosion-resistant, has a great strength-to-weight ratio and exhibits excellent fatigue resistance.
