These alloying elements can include chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus, depending on the grade and specifications. Moreover, their chemical composition contains a carbon range of 0.15-0.25 per cent depending on grade. Keeping the manganese within 0.30-0.60 per cent and phosphorous within 0.035 per cent or lower to ensure higher corrosion resistance levels for increased durability in high-pressure applications.
