Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Plates

Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Plates are an austenitic chromium-nickel-aluminum precipitation hardening stainless steel. Its composition consists of 17% Chromium, 7% Nickel, 0.05%-2.00% Carbon, and 1.0%-5.0% Aluminum, and the balance is Iron, with trace elements such as manganese or sulfur being a minor part of its makeup. The addition of aluminium makes it heat-treatable, and it obtains high strength after processing while remaining ductile and corrosion-resistant at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for applications in the aerospace industry as well as many other industries which demand high strength coupled with corrosion-resistance properties from their materials.

Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Plates are an age-hardened, precipitation-hardened chromium-nickel alloy widely used for high strength and corrosion resistance. It offers excellent fatigue and creep properties due to its low carbon content, making it a great choice for aerospace components and medical implants. It also has good formability and weldability, which makes it suitable for applications requiring strong yet light components. Additionally, Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Plates have exceptional wear resistance qualities that make them useful in many industries, such as food processing and machine shops.
