Stainless Steel 310H Electrodes

310H stainless steel electrodes are composed of an alloy that is highly alloyed with austenitic grade stainless steel. This alloy consists of 22-24% chromium, 13-15% nickel, 2% manganese, 1% silicon, and 0.04-0.08% carbon. Combining these elements in this way, this grade of stainless steel exhibits superior weldability and formability compared to other austenitic grades of stainless steel, along with added strength and corrosion resistance.

The 310H SS electrodes are mainly used in high-temperature applications due to their excellent heat resistance. They are also used in welding operations that involve welding austenitic alloys, as they can be easily welded and joined with other metals. The properties of 310H stainless steel electrodes include excellent formability, good strength and corrosion resistance, very good weldability, great ductility, and good oxidation resistance up to 1600°F (871°C). These properties make them suitable for use in various industries, such as the food industry, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, and many more.
