Stainless Steel 310H Square Pipes

Stainless steel 310H square pipes contain an alloying combination of iron, chromium, nickel, and manganese with trace amounts of silicon, carbon, sulfur, and phosphorus. Chromium is the key element since it adds additional corrosion protection, which helps to give this alloy its superior oxidation resistance. Nickel makes up about 20 to 25 per cent of the composition and adds improved ductility and toughness. Manganese also further increases corrosion resistance by binding dissolved oxygen in solution.

SS 310H square pipes are commonly used in medical equipment, industrial machinery, and other applications that require precise movements or repeated cycles. This alloy is also suitable for high-temperature environments due to its increased temperature resistance. In addition to its superior oxidation and corrosion resistance, stainless steel 310H has good creep strength at temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F). The main properties of this alloy include excellent formability, toughness and hardness, and ductility. Furthermore, it provides improved weldability compared to other stainless steel alloys.
