Stainless Steel 436 Sheet

Stainless Steel 436 Sheet is a ferritic, low-carbon variant of stainless steel. It contains 18% chromium and 2% molybdenum for excellent corrosion resistance in many environments. Its composition also includes minor elements of nitrogen, iron, manganese, nickel, sulfur, and copper. Due to its durability and high-temperature resistance, it is used in heavy industry applications, including chemical storage tanks and automotive components.

Stainless Steel 436 Sheet is a low-chromium ferritic stainless steel with good oxidation and corrosion resistance. It has excellent weldability, ease of forming, and excellent mechanical properties. It provides superior heat resistance and strength at temperatures up to 1500°F. Further, it is highly resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking and can be used in numerous industrial applications like automotive exhaust systems.
