Inconel 800 Foil

Inconel 800 Foil is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy sheet that is highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion. Its composition includes nickel, chromium, iron, some aluminium and titanium, and trace amounts of other elements such as manganese and carbon. It has excellent strength at high temperatures, making it suitable for many applications in aerospace, chemical processing, cryogenic storage and more.

It has several properties, including exceptional strength in both temperature extremes, excellent corrosion resistance against sulfur-bearing atmospheres, good creep rupture strength, and superior formability and weldability. It also possesses superior fatigue properties compared to other metals, including stainless steel. This makes it especially suitable for applications in mechanical seals, heat exchangers and chemical processing equipment components.
