Inconel 800HT Foil

Inconel 800HT Foil is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and moderate corrosion resistance. The high-temperature strength of this alloy is developed by tightly controlled contents of carbon, aluminium, titanium and niobium. Its composition also includes up to 0.4% specific cobalt additions, providing good oxidation properties at elevated temperatures up to 980°C (1800°F).

Inconel 800HT foil is ideal for many applications due to its impressive properties. It has excellent oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength, and superior formability and weldability. It resists scaling and chloride pitting corrosion, making it the perfect choice for heat exchangers in mild and hostile environments. Additionally, it offers excellent creep rupture strength up to 1850 degrees Celsius and good machinability. This makes it suitable for various applications, such as aircraft components and cryogenic vessels.
